Jigyasa is a three-phase team event in which the first phase is a written quiz (Objective), followed by the second phase which will be both subjective and experimental.

The 3 phases will consist of questions from the 4 major streams in Science, namely : Physics, Chemistry, Biology & Mathematics.

Students currently enrolled in undergraduate or postgraduate courses for science, medicine,engineering,geology and pharmacy are eligible for participating in the quiz.

The winning teams will be awarded cash prizes worth Rs.10,000/-

Jigyasa is a team event and each team must have 3 members.

Each member should take the first round(objective), individually and should clear the individual cut off for the team to qualify for the second round.

The top 10 teams will advance to the second round where they can attend a maximum of 8 subjective questions, which should be completed in 2 hours.

PARTICIPATION

Students wishing to participate can register online.

There are no registration charges.

The last date for completion of online registration is 30th January 2016.

On spot registrations are also available.
(NB: Those willing to register on spot must arrive at the venue latest by 9:00 AM)
DATE & VENUE

All the three rounds will take place at Centre for Excellence in Bsic Sciences, University of Mumbai, Kalina, Santacruz (E), Mumbai on 31st January 2016

Round 1 starts at 9:30 am and ends at 11:30 am.

Round 2 starts at 1:00 pm am and ends at 3:00 am.

Round 3 starts from 4:30 pm
